In our fast-paced, often divisive world, true peace can seem elusive. We are surrounded by noise—conflict, misunderstanding, and discord—which can often leave us feeling lost, anxious, and disconnected. But amidst this turmoil, there is a divine message that calls us back to the essential truths of faith: true peace comes through unity, love for God and one another, and living in grace. This message was powerfully shared by Jesus Christ on October 19, 2010, to Fernanda, a devotee, during a moment of reflection and prayer.
During a Holy Mass, Jesus Christ spoke about the true essence of peace. In His message, He stressed that peace is not simply the absence of conflict but the presence of unity, love, and grace. Peace, He explained, is when His children are united in love for one another—loving each other as He loves them. It is about putting aside conflicts, petty disputes, and the destructive power of gossip, jealousy, and division. For Jesus, peace comes from living in harmony, without letting trivial matters cause rifts between us.
In the homily, Father George, a priest, highlighted the importance of unity in his teachings on peace. His words resonated deeply as they echoed Jesus' call for His followers to live as one, bound together by love, not division. True peace, according to Jesus, is when His children come together in unity, worshiping Him, the Father, the Holy Spirit, and the Blessed Mother.

Jesus Christ emphasizes the significance of receiving Him through Holy Communion while in a state of grace. When we approach Him with a pure heart, free from sin and with repentance, we open the door to His loving peace, which can stay in our hearts and transform our lives.
Through His words, we are reminded that peace does not merely come from external circumstances but from a deep connection with God. It is about surrendering ourselves to His grace and trusting in His mercy. When we allow His presence to dwell within us, we can find peace that surpasses all understanding, a peace that can endure even in the most challenging times.
A key element of true peace, as shared by Jesus, is the love we extend to others—especially to those who may be difficult to love. Jesus calls on us to love not only our friends and family but also our enemies. This can be one of the hardest challenges we face as human beings. It is easy to love those who love us in return, but to love those who hurt or oppose us requires strength and grace beyond our own. Yet, this is what Jesus calls us to do—to wish for others the same good we wish for ourselves, regardless of their actions toward us.

Jesus also expressed His gratitude for those who serve as peacemakers in the world. He thanked Fernanda for always being a peacemaker between families and His children, emphasizing the importance of those who strive to bridge divides and foster unity. As His followers, we are called to be instruments of peace in our communities, in our families, and in our personal relationships.
Being a peacemaker does not mean ignoring conflicts or pretending that problems don’t exist. It means approaching them with love, grace, and the desire for reconciliation. It is about bringing people together, healing wounds, and fostering an environment where love and understanding flourish.
