On the journey of faith, many believers have faced moments of loss, pain, and trial. Yet, behind every tear and sacrifice lies a powerful truth: “God takes away. But when He gives back, He multiplies.” This simple phrase holds one of the most hopeful promises for those who choose to love and trust in the Lord completely.
✨ When God allows loss
Throughout biblical history, we see examples of men and women who lost everything: material possessions, family, health… yet they never stopped loving God. The story of Job is one of the clearest testimonies. Job, a faithful servant, was tested to the limit. He lost it all. But his faith did not waver. As a result, God restored to him twice as much as he had before:
📖 “The Lord blessed the latter part of Job’s life more than the former...” (Job 42:12)
God does not take away out of whim. When He allows something to be taken, it is because He has a greater plan — a multiplied blessing that will come to those who remain steadfast in love.
💖 The secret is to love God unconditionally
The phrase “If you love God 36. Amen” can be understood as a call to love God fully — not just in words but with the heart, in total surrender and faithfulness. The number “36” can symbolize a love without measure, complete and unwavering, trusting God’s plan even in the darkness.
Jesus taught us this:
📖 “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap...” (Luke 6:38)
Those who love God unconditionally will experience the grace of a God who not only restores what was lost, but multiplies it.
🌱 A message for you today
If you are facing trials today, if you feel that life has taken something precious from you, remember this truth: God sees your pain, and His plan is perfect. Trust, wait, love… because when God gives back, it will be far more than what you ever lost.
🙏 Reflect and share
Today, take a moment to thank God — even for the losses — because behind them lies His promise of multiplication. And if this message touched your heart, share it with someone who needs it.
